THE GREGG S. PEANO
MEMORIAL CAMPERSHIP FUND

Gregg Peano joined our Troop in 1993. He was very active in the troop and even worked on summer camp staff for two seasons. Gregg became an Eagle Scout in the year 2000, an achievement he worked towards for seven years. In August of 2003, at the age of 20, Gregg was killed in an automobile accident. It was his parent's wishes that a Campership Fund be set up in Gregg's name to help pay some of the cost of Summer Camp for future Scouts in Troop 70.

If you would like to donate to this Summer Camp Fund in Gregg's honor, please contact Troop 70 Scoutmaster Rob Petrillo at Rpetrillo@bsa-gnyc.org.

GENERAL TREASURY DONATIONS

The troop would like to help subsidize the cost of other trips for the Scouts (Rafting, caving, skiing, Jamboree visit, tours of other cities, etc.) An immediate need is transportation to and from activities that are not local. Van rentals are very expensive and when added to the total cost of a trip would make that activity unaffordable to some of our Scouts. We are also in constant need of program supplies and troop equipment such as: tents, cooking and utensil kits, tarps, camp stoves, maps/compass, first aid supplies, etc.

If you would like to donate to the general troop treasury fund to help with activity transportaion, troop supplies and equipment, please contact Troop 70 Scoutmaster Rob Petrillo at Rpetrillo@bsa-gnyc.org.

Thank You in advance for your support!
